Sitewise separates observed source data, user inputs and model assumptions so a commercial decision can be challenged and reproduced.
Live evidence currently connected
OpenStreetMap via Overpass: nearby mapped shop and business records within 750 metres of the validated coordinate. This is an indicator of mapped propositions, not a complete business register.
Planning Data API: nearby planning-application records where the national platform has coverage. Planning coverage is incomplete and results require interpretation.
Nominatim: geocoding only. A match confirms a place, not rent, demand, occupancy, trading status or viability.
Fixture and user-supplied inputs
Rent, opening hours, category and planning case are currently user inputs or transparent prototype assumptions. Business rates, ONS demand context, transport, parking, footfall and licensed commercial listings are planned source adapters.
What this does not claim
It does not predict profit, guarantee demand, recommend a lease, provide planning or financial advice, or rank a neighbourhood as objectively best.
